How to Marinate Olives with Yolo Press Sun Dried Olives
Marinated Olives
Ingredients
- Yolo Press Sun Dried Olives
- Filtered water
- 1 C good olive oil
- Garlic cloves, peeled
- Fresh herbs such as rosemary, thyme and oregano
- Peppercorns - optional
- Lemon zest - optional
Equipment
- Medium bowl
- Strainer
- Pint Mason jar
Instructions
Place dried olives in a bowl and cover with water. Soak for about 24 hours, until the olives feely a little squishy. Once ready, strain the olives and place in a mason jar. Cover with olive oil and add garlic and your favorite herbs. You can enjoy now or store in the jar in the refrigerator for weeks. Serve with bread so you can soak up the olive oil that has been seasoned with the herbs.
