Guilty Garlic Extra Virgin Olive Oil – Calivirgin, Lodi, California

This oil is literally made for dipping! It’s extra virgin, and infused with real garlic right at the crush. This isn’t just any olive oil, either. It comes from family owned Coldani Olive Ranch in Lodi, California. With roots in Italy, they have been ranching in the Central Valley for four generations. The Calivirgin label has won an incredible amount of awards in just a short six years of entering competitions. This garlic infusion is great paired with Calivirgin’s Dipping Spices and it’s also a tasty addition to pasta or drizzled on soups at the finish.

Hot Virgin Jalapeño Extra Virgin Olive Oil  – Calivirgin, Lodi, California

This infused olive oil, also from Calivirgin, is also a showstopper. It has just the right amount of jalapeño flavor and a hint of heat. We absolutely love this olive oil on our salad greens, or for dipping bread into. To really ramp up the flavor pair it with Calivirgin Dipping Spices. You can dip sliced baguette into it or you can toss it into pasta.

Extra Virgin Olive Oil Dipping Spices – Calivirgin, Lodi, California

These spices are the natural pairing to any good olive oil. House made by Calivirgin, it’s a tasty mix of garlic, tomatoes, onion, salt, basil, parsley, black pepper dehydrated with sunflower oil. Simply put some spice in a shallow dish, add a tinsy bit of water to rehydrate the herbs, then pour olive oil on top. Then dip away. It makes a simple starter to any meal. You can also add these spices to pasta, guacamole, soups or use as a rub.

Walnut Butter – Winter’s Fruit Tree, Winters, California

Move over almonds! If you love almond butter, make room for this Walnut Butter from Winters Fruit Tree in Winters, California. It’s slightly sweet with a hint of salt, and yummy on banana bread or paired with apple slices. It comes from the town of Winters original fruit stand. Winters Fruit Tree can be found at local farmers markets throughout Sacramento.

Chili Oil Sauce – HCS Foods Co, Sacramento, California

Chili oil is HOT right now! And we are here for it. This chili crisp oil is made by husband and wife team Jason Wong and Xulin Chen of HCS Foods Company. This chili oil sauce will add spice to any dish without blowing out your tastebuds. It’s great paired with dumplings, or topping off ramen, or eggs. We love it on cold spaghetti.

Cocoa Nib Brittle Sea Salt Bar – Ginger Elizabeth Chocolates, Sacramento, California

This high quality chocolate bar from Ginger Elizabeth Chocolate begins with 69% Valrhona couverture chocolate, which gives it a smooth mouth feel and a distinct red fruit profile with a hint of roasted nuts. Cocoa nib brittle gives each bite a bit of crunch. Fleur de Sel sea salt highlights the richness and perfectly compliments the dark chocolate. Ginger Elizabeth Chocolate is Sacramento’s very own couverture chocolate factory that makes seasonal delights, and sources ingredients from local farms whenever possible.
